What will PEP include

Please respond to this list for inclusion the PEP 2012 - the new PEP. I am assumptive to the fact that it may take a bit of time to include all of this. What do we want in the system? 1. student EE schedules and database 2. preceptor EE schedules and database 3. immunization and attestation documentation database 4. student EE reflection and documentation submission database 5. E portfolio for students to maintain the information submitted for #4 6. student grading system - the PEP version for SUCCESS - given that this is a state wide (almost) system - is it possible to develop a similar version for our preceptors - making it transparent to them? 7. New cirriculum - the ability to adpat to cirricular changes over time What else? please respond, bjh

  1. Hi.. From my point of view (programmer) - points 1 through 5 are obvious to be implemented (that includes the reflection and documentation submission database).
Number 6 (SUCCESS type of thing)- I did not account for that... I do not know what you mean by making "it transparent" to our preceptors. Need more info.
The curricular changes - yes - most of the PEP should be in variables - means - the curriculum is defined in the SET UP administered via PEP administration screen.

  2. I agree with Jolanta...points 1-5 are important and need to continue to be part of PEP. SUCCESS grading...I guess we need to make a decision of whether to keep the material on the UF server or not...if moved overt to our server, the look and feel of NSU SUCCESS would need to mirror the current system.

It looks like we are moving to the model of one place to log in for all tasks...e portfolio, schedules, cuuricular info, immuniz, attestation forms...etc.

    Thanks, Holly (AKA FLRunnerGirl)
